Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadows Review, Urban Decay Spring 2010 Collection
How was your Tuesday? Hopefully smooth and sans any serious drama-for-your-mama. 🙂
My mean solar day was filled with website wrangling (YEEHAW!). I was trading emails with the blog'southward new web hosting visitor (servint), simply that coiffure really knows their stuff. It shouldn't be long before the blog'south loading much faster, and I tin can't look!
So, earlier today I sneaked away to rendezvous with my new undercover crushes, the Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadows ($20). Retrieve them? You lot guys met the other solar day.
I think I Really hitting it off with 54, the sheer regal (with royal AND hot pinkish glitter), merely Moon Spoon (the sheer grayish taupe with silvery glitter) and Space Cowboy (the almost transparent biscuit with the peachy gold glitter) weren't as well hard on the eyes either.
What I noticed about 'em…
- Sheer-to-transparent color. We're talking very lite pigmentation — no explosions of intense color. Space Cowboy's the sheerest 1; 54 the least.
- Fine glitter. Hooray for fine glitter! The glitter is a dainty bling, kinda like bling-low-cal (read: the contrary of Degrassi Junior High), small and low in the chunk gene, too. I love information technology!
- Bad-arse hold. They reached out and grabbed concord of my lids, and I thought they'd never permit go! Fantastic wear fourth dimension here — Then good, in fact, that they were really a piffling tough to remove.
- Fallout? Just a tad. In their PR about these, UD claims yous won't see any glitter fallout with Stardust. Well, whatsoever's a tough discussion to live upward to, but I think UD's mostly right. I recollect I saw a few sparkles beneath my optics and around my cheeks, just no big deal at all. It was zip compared to nigh of the glittery shadows I've used. Really, I feel like I take a lot of control over Stardust, which is a HUGE plus for me.
- Smooth… You know how glittery products tin can experience crude, like, um, glitter? — all gritty and grainy? Stardust not so much. I retrieve it feels quite shine for what information technology is. Another plus. 🙂
Stardust application
I tried it both wet and so dry using my fingers, Urban Decay'southward application tool o' option for the Stardust shadows.
The dry fingers created a sheer launder of colour…
54
Moon Spoon
Space Cowboy
Wet fingers, on the other paw (ha!), produced a more intense event…
54
Moon Spoon
Infinite Cowboy
JEEZ! I love the flexibility.
Are they worth information technology?
I call back it boils down to how much you lot like the bling. Are ya a glitter girl?
If sparkle's your hot sauce, these will lite you up. Keen staying power, smoothen texture, flexibility, very little fallout, and acme-quality glitter? Nice.
I think I'm picky when it comes to glitter, and I'yard really impressed by Stardust. Next fourth dimension I hitting the club, the right kind of party or a rails bear witness, I might have some Stardust on my eyes. UD could accept a glitter winner on their hands. Even Tabs agrees. 🙂 Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating: A
